At Eagle Elementary we believe all students should receive high quality education, personal growth, and a safe positive environment to reach their highest potential. We believe an education should serve its students in the real world by providing knowledge, critical thinking and problem solving skills. We believe that the development of self-respect, self-worth, and self-esteem can dramatically improve a child’s outlook and is just as important as academics.

Our school day runs from 8:30am - 3pm, with an additional After School Program.

Academics

We are here to close the opportunity gap and the achievement gap. To that end, we put student success at the forefront of everything we do. We deliberately foster a supportive and inclusive environment where students feel valued, encouraged, and empowered to reach their full potential.

We pride ourselves on the strong academic program we have at Eagle Elementary. We challenge students to think critically, analyze problems, and develop creative solutions, skills that are essential for success in the modern world. We prepare students for the challenges they will face in middle school, high school, and beyond.

Social Emotional Skills

We invest in the social-emotional health of our students through dedicated mental health programs. We partner with Guiding Point to provide counseling services in our building four days a week. (They also run our afterschool and summer programs as well)! Another close partnership - with Families First - allows for counseling services for both students and their families. Our commitment to the whole child as well as their families means that we care for our students’ physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development in a holistic way.

Physical Education and Health

Through our Physical Education and Health program, students not only learn about physical health and wellness but also develop character traits and self-esteem. Physical activity helps students build stronger self worth, improves brain function, and allows for self expression.

Through engaging physical activities and exercises, our students develop strength, coordination, and a sense of accomplishment. These classes promote physical fitness, instill healthy habits, and educate our children about the importance of leading an active lifestyle. Read more on our Blog!
